Residential Building Project in Pilon, Costa Rica
Malone Development Company, operated by Shayne Malone, is currently undergoing a residential construction project on a plot of land near Pilon, Costa Rica on the Golfo de Dulce. The land size is 4,323 square meters in size (1.07 acres). It is conveniently located between the coastal road and the 200 meter line from the beach. The area is relatively undeveloped at this time though signs of future growth are already beginning, including the construction of two quality homes owned by foreigners on adjacent land.
This property is located in southwestern Costa Rica at the mouth of the Pacific Ocean and the Golfo de Dulce. Pavones, Costa Rica attracts an international surf crowd that comes to enjoy the famous “longest left hand wave” in the world. Fortunately, our project is located closer to Pilon, which offers an equally strong wave with less crowds. A short walk to the beach will allow views of this surf break at the nearby point.
The target market for this project are middle-aged to retired individuals from North America or Europe that are seeking an affordable tropical vacation home. The area naturally tends to attract those interested in living or being near a surfing community, though the beauty of the area will satisfy anyone’s appetite for a tropical lifestyle.
There is a public access road to allow for easy access to the beach. The sandy beach is located on a small bay that is lined with palm trees. Given the natural beauty, the area is certain to experience continued growth.
The project will include the construction of 4 single-family “beach style” houses. Each lot will be approximately 1000m2 (.25 acres).
